Save the Date! Friday, December 12, 2025 – Ovid Carriage Days presents Home for the Holidays. Our most cherished event of the year. 
Get ready for a magical small-town Christmas event in Ovid! The “Home for the Holidays” Light Parade is scheduled for Friday, December 12th, promising an evening full of festive cheer.
The festivities kick off at 6:45 PM on Main Street. After the parade, the community is invited to gather at the Ovid Lions Hall for more fun, including:
- Free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
- Placing an ornament on the city Christmas tree.
- Gifts for children 12 and under.
- Milk and cookies for everyone.
New this year are horse-drawn wagon rides and a warming tent to keep everyone cozy. Mark your calendars for a perfect night of sparkle and holiday spirit
